London’s Best Padel Courts: Our Favourite Venues
We’re big fans of Padium because it feels like what Padel should be in London - quality courts and a great buzz nestled in an iconic skyline. Padium opened in 2023 and immediately became one of those go-to Padel venues. The courts want for nothing, there’s a lounge and bar for post-match beers or shakes, and you often bump into the same crew week after week, which gives it a community feel. It’s a bit more premium than your average Padel venue, but that’s exactly what keeps you coming back. Unsurprisingly court hire here is on the higher end at £80 per hour, and it’s worth booking ahead, especially if you’re after prime slots.

Down in Wandsworth, The Padel Yard has a friendly, laid-back feel. The mix of outdoor and indoor courts makes it great year-round, and there’s plenty of space to kick back on a deck chair with a juice or beer. With food vendors on site and background music throughout, we love it for weekend sessions that last beyond the Padel match. Courts range from £55-£70 per hour. There is also a Pickleball court on site, though we’re sticking to Padel for now!

Rocket Padel, Battersea Power Station
Right on the riverfront in Battersea, Rocket Padel has quickly become one of our favourite places to play when you want something that feels a bit more special. The four courts are housed in an impressive glass building overlooking the Thames to the North and iconic Battersea Power Station to the South. There’s a bar and café on site too, and a well stocked shop. Courts range from £70-£90 per hour (though things can get much more expensive if you’re tempted by the many shops in the neighbouring Power Station).

If you’re after somewhere with a bit of personality, you will like Padel Box. Based in Bermondsey, the industrial-chic clubhouse has a cool vibe and a smart mezzanine overlooking the action. There’s good coffee to kick off your session and craft beers waiting after you’ve finished. There are five quality courts, clean changing rooms and even little work booths if you want to squeeze in a call before or after your match. At £60 per court per hour, it’s not unreasonably priced either.
